Hi, I’m Lukáš

I’m a wedding photographer based in Bratislava, capturing weddings across Slovakia and Austria, including Vienna. I focus on genuine moments, the atmosphere of your day, and portraits that feel like you, wherever you choose to celebrate.

The photographs I care about most bring you back to how it all felt: the anticipation before the ceremony, a familiar embrace, the laughter that catches everyone off guard. I look for those moments while keeping an eye on the light, composition, and details you’ve chosen with care.

Feeling comfortable with your photographer makes a difference. Throughout the day, I give you space to enjoy yourselves and spend time with your people. When it’s time for portraits, I’ll guide you so you don’t have to wonder where to stand or what to do with your hands. You can simply relax and be yourselves.

Before the wedding, we’ll talk through your plans and what matters most to you. I’ll also share my wedding guide, with practical tips to help you feel prepared and make room for photographs without letting them take over your day.

I speak Slovak and fluent English, making communication easy whether you’re planning a local celebration or bringing together family and friends from around the world.

I’d love to hear what you’re planning.

“We’d like to thank Lukáš from the bottom of our hearts — both for being a wonderful person and an excellent photographer.

From the moment I saw
When choosing a photographer for our wedding, I was clear from the moment I saw Lukáš's work.
We had a big wedding and since it's the time and we had no idea until the last minute whether there would be 105 of us or just a close family, it was difficult, but I knew one thing: we would keep the royal dress and Lukáš!
In the end, everything went beyond expectations!”

Your questions answered

How do we book you for our wedding?

Start by filling out my contact form and telling me a little about your wedding. If I’m available on your date, I’ll send you a pricing proposal. If you decide I’m the right photographer for you, I’ll then ask you to complete my reservation form.

After that, I’ll send you a contract to sign and an invoice for a €200 booking payment, which counts towards the total price of your package. Your date is officially reserved once the contract is signed and the €200 payment has been received.

How would you describe your approach to wedding photography?

I focus on real moments, the atmosphere of your day, and the people who make it yours. For most of the wedding, I work quietly in the background, giving you space to enjoy it. During portraits, I’ll offer clear, relaxed guidance so you never have to wonder what to do.

Before the wedding, we’ll talk through your plans and what matters most to you. I’ll also share my wedding guide with practical tips to help you feel prepared.

Where are you based, and do you travel for weddings?

I’m based in Bratislava and photograph weddings throughout Slovakia and Austria, including Vienna and the surrounding area. I’m also happy to travel to other destinations across Europe. I speak Slovak and fluent English, making communication easy for international couples and their guests.

When and how will we receive our photos?

Within one week of your wedding, you’ll receive a preview of 100 fully edited photos to enjoy and share. This applies to shorter coverage too. Your complete gallery will follow within three months, although delivery is often sooner earlier in the season.

You’ll receive your photos in a private online gallery, in high resolution suitable for printing, without logos or watermarks.

How many photos will we receive?

For full-day coverage, you’ll receive at least 700 edited photos with the Classic package or 900 with the Exclusive package. The final number depends on the length of coverage and how your day unfolds. Each gallery includes a carefully selected mix of people, moments, portraits, and details to tell the story of your wedding.

We’re not used to being photographed. Will you guide us?

Absolutely. Most couples I photograph have little or no experience in front of a professional camera. I’ll guide you with simple directions and movement, so you don’t need to know how to pose. There’s room to laugh, take a breath, and enjoy being together.

We’ll choose a location and plan the timing in advance. For portraits on your wedding day, I recommend at least 90 minutes of photography in total, plus any travel time. Rather than taking all the portraits in one go, I suggest a main session and a few shorter 10-15 minute sessions throughout the day.

We’ll fit these shorter sessions around your reception, making the photography feel less demanding and keeping interruptions to a minimum. Photographing at different times of day also gives us a variety of light and atmosphere, making your final album feel more varied and dynamic. For a portrait session on a separate day, I recommend around two hours.

Can we have our wedding portraits taken on a different day?

Yes. A separate portrait session gives us more time, more choice of locations, and the flexibility to plan around the light. It also means you can spend more of your wedding day with your guests.

We’ll choose the date, location, and start time together, often aiming for the softer light before sunset. It’s a lovely option if you’d like a more relaxed session or have a location in mind that wouldn’t fit into the wedding-day schedule.

Will all our photos be edited?

Yes. Every photo you receive is individually edited for colour, exposure, and contrast, giving your gallery a consistent look that reflects the work you see on my website. Portraits also receive gentle retouching where needed, while keeping skin texture and features natural.

Do you offer shorter wedding coverage?

Yes. While I mainly photograph full wedding days on weekends, shorter coverage options are also available. Tell me your date and which parts of the day you’d like photographed, and I’ll suggest a suitable option.

For weddings from Monday to Thursday, I offer flexible coverage with a custom quote based on the hours you need. Standalone wedding portrait sessions can also be arranged on weekdays.

How far in advance should we book?

I recommend getting in touch as soon as you’ve confirmed your wedding date and venue. That gives us time to talk through your plans and check availability before you make a decision.

If your wedding is coming up soon, please still ask. I may have your date available and would love to hear what you’re planning.

What happens if it rains?

If rain changes our portrait plans, we can choose a suitable indoor location or arrange the session for another day. We’ll talk through the options together and find what works best for you.

I’m very flexible with weekday portrait sessions; weekend availability is more limited because I’m usually photographing weddings.
